Established in 1999 as the sole Toyota distributor in Jordan. Markazia has proven to become a leading local automotive distributor, providing the Jordanian market with a wide array of total mobility solutions. From there, it went on to expand its rich portfolio to include world renowned brands such as Lexus, Hino, Budget Rent-a-car, King Long and many more.
Built with respect as its basis, Markazia strives to lead the way towards incomparable performance while focusing on what matters the most, its people.

What we do

Markazia operations include Automobile Sales, Service and Parts. Supported by seven dealers spread over the Kingdom, 2 service centers and a parts depot, Markazia employs over 1,000 people and has sold over 100,000 vehicles and serviced more than 1 Million vehicles since its inception.

Markazia has also expanded it’s horizons into Rent-a-car and Leasing to provide a more comprehensive service portfolio to its customers and currently is the franchisee of Budget Rent-a-car and its subsidiaries in Jordan

How it all started

With over 20 years of managerial experience in the automotive industry, George Haddad founded Central Trade & Auto Co. – Markazia as the sole distributor of Toyota in Jordan in 1998. Immediately, Markazia commenced with 3S services (Sales, Spare Parts, Aftersales Service) to provide customers with a comprehensive solution for their Toyota needs. The first year of sales resulted in over 500 units of vehicle sales which grew at an average rate of 51% per year over the next 5 years. In 2003 Markazia acquired the distributorship Denso Spare parts, a Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) subsidiary. Followed in 2007, by the commencement of distribution of another 2 TMC subsidiaries, Lexus and Hino, allowing it to expand its range of products to cover luxury as well as medium and heavy commercial vehicles. Today Markazia has expanded beyond the TMC product range and currently also represents Kinglong, one of the largest auto manufacturer in China. Beyond the sales and distribution of vehicles and spare parts, in 2012, Markazia expanded into Rent-a-car and Leasing to provide a more comprehensive service portfolio to its customers. It currently represents Budget Rent-a-car and its subsidiaries. This was follwed by another big move into the motorcycle industry by becoming the proud and sole dealer of Yamaha in Jordan.
